Shoukry examines business and environmental in Singapore

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry expressed an Egyptian interest to broaden relations with Singapore at a meeting with his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan on Thursday.

Shoukry, who is president designate of COP27, reviewed the climate change priorities with the Singaporean Minister of Sustainability and Environment Grace Fu. They examined ways of coordination over climate work in the future.

Cultural and religious discussions were also held between FM Shoukry and the Singaporean Minister of Social and Family Development, Masagos Zulkifli.

Shoukry had met Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, where he delivered a message from President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi. Earlier this week, Minister Shoukry visited Malaysia, as part of his Asian tour to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Pakistan.
