CAF Cup – Zamalek win, but lose on goal difference
Egypt's Zamalek football club first eleven pose for a team photo prior to the start of the final of the CAF Champions League football competition against South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns on October 23, 2016 at the Borg el-Arab Stadium near Alexandria.
Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa won the CAF Champions League for the first time Sunday despite a 1-0 second-leg final loss to Zamalek of Egypt in Alexandria. A Stanley Ohawuchi goal on 64 minutes was not enough for the home team before a 60,000 crowd as they trailed 3-0 from the first leg in Pretoria last weekend.
