Egypt’s National football team jumped to the 34th place in the world rankings issued by the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) on Thursday.
The team jumped 11 spots from the 45th place in the FIFA world ranking. Egypt is ranked third in Africa after Senegal at the 18th rank, the Africa Cup of Nations champion, Morocco the 24th globally and Nigeria 32nd. Among Arab countries, the Pharaohs are only preceded by the Moroccan team, as Egypt occupied the second place in the new classification.
