Egypt’s National football team jumped to the 34^th place in the world rankings issued by the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) on Thursday.

The team jumped 11 spots from the 45^th place in the FIFA world ranking. Egypt is ranked third in Africa after Senegal at the 18^th rank, the Africa Cup of Nations champion, Morocco the 24^th globally and Nigeria 32^nd. Among Arab countries, the Pharaohs are only preceded by the Moroccan team, as Egypt occupied the second place in the new classification.
