Cairo hosts the ‘FIG 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup’

The ‘2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup’, set to run until 21 March, was launched at the Cairo stadium on Thursday.

The Indoor Hall Complex of the Cairo International Stadium is hosting the 2022 World Cup for Artistic Gymnastics for men and women. A total of 281 participants representing 35 countries are taking part in the competition.

The 2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is officially organised and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).

This year’s participating countries are Egypt (host), Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Morocco, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, America, Uzbekistan, India and Qatar.
