Palestinian President arrives in Egypt for the WYF

“Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Egypt on Sunday, to participate in the he fourth annual World Youth Forum (WYF) due to kick off on Monday”, a statement by the Palestinian embassy in Egypt read.

The Palestinian President and accompanying delegation were received by Egyptian Minister of Environment Yassmine Fouad, a delegation from the Egyptian Intelligence Services, and Palestinian ambassador to Egypt and the Arab League Diab al-Louh.

Jordan’s Ambassador to the Arab League and to Egypt, Amjad Odeh Adaileh, said; “Crown Prince of Jordan, Hussein bin Abdullah II, will participate in the WYF”.

“The Crown Prince’s participation is the third, since the first launch of the forum in Egypt”, said Adaileh on Sunday.

Iraq’s Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, will participate in the activities of the forum on Monday.

Egypt’s 4th annual World Youth Forum (WYF) held on Saturday two preparatory workshops, ahead of the opening session scheduled for Monday.

The workshops highlighted Egyptian efforts in solving the water crisis, which was achieved through water ways (canals) lining and the use of modern irrigation.
