“Egyptian vaccination certificates are now recognized in the UK for those wishing to travel from Egypt”, announced the British Ambassador to Egypt, Gareth Bayley, on Friday.

“The UK is welcoming travellers from Egypt after it was removed from the UK red list. The kingdom has recognised Egyptian vaccination certificates of fully vaccinated travellers”, Bayley wrote on Twitter.

He added, “starting from Monday, the 11 of October, travellers will no longer have to self-isolate or in quarantine. Negative PCR tests are no longer required before leaving Egypt”.

“Travellers should be vaccinated with (AstraZeneca, Modern, Pfizer, or Johnson) 14 days before their arrival in the UK”, he stressed.
