“Egypt reported 668 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total infection tally to 90,413”, a statement by the Health ministry read on Thursday.

40 new deaths were recorded on the day. The total number of deaths from the virus reached 4,480.

“991 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 31,066”, according to the statement.
