The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound rose at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, after witnessing a large increase lately followed by a limited decline.
Dollar price maintained a relatively stable rate at major Egyptian banks. The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered the lowest rates for the dollar at £E18.24 for purchase and £E18.37 for sale.
The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr both traded the US dollar at £E18.27 for purchase and £E18.37 for sale. Meanwhile, the dollar purchase price marked £E18.28 and sale price at £E18.38 at the Suez Canal Bank.
The highest rates were offered at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and the Egyptian Exchange Company, in which the purchase price reached £E18.29 while sales marked £E18.39.
