884 new COVID-19 infections and 13 deaths logged in Egypt

“884 new COVID-19 cases, 13 deaths and 322 recoveries were recorded late on Wednesday”, the Egyptian Ministry of Health confirmed.

Data released by the Ministry of Health reveal that total infections reached 493,658 Nationwide. Reports indicate that 24,257 COVID-19 deaths have been registered and 423,457 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

The COVID-19 daily infections rate has been declining over the past couple of weeks. Health authorities registered daily infections below 2,000 cases.

The Ministry of Health and Population has been urging citizens to register on its website to receive the vaccine. The vaccination campaign has fully vaccinated over 30 million citizens, 40 million with the first dose and over 1.2 million with the booster shot.
