The First African Arab economic conference opened on Thursday to review means of realising integration among Arab and African states.
The event is organised by the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) in tandem with the Arab African Council for Integration and Development as well as civil community, universities, research centres and banks.
The conference promotes economic and social cooperation among Arab and African states through boosting joint investments and trade.
Discussion will tackle legislation that would enhance Arab-African cooperation.
The conference will underline the importance of using green energy resources in the Arab and African states, in addition to adopting eco-friendly industrial mechanisms.
