This paper focuses on the six conditions set in an evaluation carried out in 2016; about the development of women entrepreneurship in Egypt.

These conditions include establishing a legislative system that takes into account gender equality considerations and promotes the economic empowerment of women, as well as enhancing coordination for backing women entrepreneurs and facilitating their access to financial services, markets and technology.

Eric Ochlan, the Director of ILO Cairo Office said the event will discuss policies, legislation and strategies related to gender equality, besides determining the link between gender and access to financial services, commercial markets, technology and business development support services.
