The measures necessary to operate a cruise line between Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh are being finalized. The first cruise ship in the line will belong to the Arab Bridge Maritime owned by Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq.

Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Authority Ayman Saleh tells Egypt Today that the first cruise trip will take place this month. In the trial phase, there will only be one trip per week to be increased to two. Other companies will be allowed to operate their ships after all financial studies are finished.
