Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem, in cooperation with the President of the Egyptian Opera House Magdy Saber, announced a 50 percent discount on ticket prices for students and people with special needs.
The discount will be on tickets for all shows performed in Opera House affiliated theatres in Alexandria, Cairo and Damanhour starting January 1, 2019.
The step came as part of the state plan aimed at providing facilities for the people with special abilities.
A class of fine arts for people with special needs has been also recently set up at the Talents Development Centre of the Opera House, besides the already existing choir class, according to Abdel Dayem.
