Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah discussed over several Arab and regional issues of mutual concern, during a meeting in Kuwait on Tuesday.
The two leaders reviewed joint countering terrorism and extremism efforts. They agreed to promote tolerance and moderation on a regional scale.
“The security and stability of Arab Gulf countries in the face of internal and external challenges are integral to the Egyptian national security”, Sisi stressed.
The Emir pledged to increase the scale of Kuwaiti investments in Egypt. He also expressed his country’s desire to expand the economic cooperation with Egypt in all fields.
